Suzanne, We love Maui and visit the island frequently. Each time we try to stay in a new location to get a feel for that area. We chose Haiku this year and were lucky enough to hit on the Pineapple Cottage. It was easy to find, yet tucked down an access road so that it felt very private. What can I say that others have not mentioned? The house and location were great and the hosts were extremely nice and helpful. We could not have asked for a better experience. Now that we are back home, we will surely miss the oranges, grapefruit and avocados that were supplied to us from Steve and Ivy’s garden. Oh, and don’t let me forget the homemade banana bread that Ivy left for us in the frig. We stayed for three weeks and would definitely return again and again.

Keith, This was my first experience using AirBnB. Therefore I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of how the process works. With things like payments, communication with host and checking-in Yada Yada. Turns out the process is simple. Any questions or concerns I had were answered in a timely manner. Steve and Ivy are wonderful people who opened their hearts and home to my family. If you and your family are big fans of crowds, tourists and fast food joints don’t stay here. Stay in Kihei, Ka’anapali or Wailea. Haiku is a hidden gem. The Pinnaple cottage is a tropical paradise nestled in Haiku. The driveway is lined with lush palms that give you privacy from neighbors. Once you enter the home and make your way to the back porch. You will hear a natural stream at the bottom of a gulch. At night, when the coqui start to sing, deer barking, and the rain begins to fall, you’ll sleep like never before. It’s absolutely magic. People if you want to experience a tropical rainforest. This place is a must
