Hookipa Beach Park Windsurf Session.
The wind has been howling this last week. I was driving by Hookipa and the local boys were out making windy Hookipa look easy. Most of the guys out there are current pros or past, and maybe future Hookipa Champions. I love life on Maui’s north shore. When the surf’s not good and the wind is up, it’s great to get a windsurf session in.
I was out at Kanaha today, being my level is not yet up to Hookipa, which I have been surfing for 40 years. After a good session, I love cruising to Paia town and visiting Mana Foods for a breakfast wrap and juice to refuel the body.
