The Stable Rd area offers some amazing oceanfront properties. Windsurfers and kiters love this area for easy beach access. The stretch of beach from Baldwin Beach to Kanaha Beach has the feel of Tahiti when you’re on the water. Once in a while, oceanfront homes in Spreckelsville come on the market. I love this stretch of shoreline. Sugar Cove condominium is located right on the water. It’s rare to find a condo on the market, but now and then it does happen. Many people like the easy access to the beach, and being part of the Maui Country Club. Maui Country Club offers a nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, and pool area. Maui Country Club is a great place to get together for a cool drink after the beach or a round of golf. North Shore has been my home for over 49 years, it’s been a great place to raise my family, and now my grown kids are raising their family enjoying surfing and beach life. As you drive by Hookipa Beach Park, you enter Maliko Gulch you have arrived at Haiku Maui. This is where I call home, love the lush feeling of driving home; it reminds me of Costa Rica.

You pretty much have two seasons on Maui. Winter season brings the surf to the north shore and some of the best surfers, kiters, and windsurfers in the world play in the surf in the wintertime. Summer brings steady tradewinds, great for flatwater windsurfing, kiting, foiling, and paddleboarding. Sometimes we get lucky and get a swell on the Northshore in the summer.
