Surfing and windsurfing on the island of Maui. Maui draws wave enthusiast from all parts of the world. Wintertime brings surf to Maui’s Northshore at places like Hookipa Beach Park and Jaws Maui. Visiting Maui’s Northshore is the perfect vacation. Having been a surfer all my life and surfing Hookipa for the last 45 years has been rewarding. The last 6-years I decided to take up windsurfing, it is such a challenging sport.

In the Haiku cannery, there are a number of surfboard companies from Kuzuma to Goya who makes some of the premiers windsurf and surfboards. Matt is the main shaper with Kuzuma, great surfer and shaper. Dakine Maui is also located in the cannery that has travels bags, leashes, windsurf gear and more.
