So many people traveling to Maui are thinking about Maui beaches, hotels, and golf courses. Of course, who doesn’t like waking up in a luxury hotel in Wailea, or oceanfront condos in Wailea Ekahi, or Makena Surf? But there is another side to Maui that I find that Maui visitors are attracted to. I live in Haiku on the Northshore of Maui with my wife and daughter on two acres and enjoy the peace, tropical setting, and evening rains. We have a B&B on our property that people just love. Waking up to birds singing and deer barking at night, and the sound of a stream running. We are also close to the best surfing and windsurfing beach on Maui, Hookipa Beach Park. Other than great places to eat my life is pretty much complete. So I hope on this blog I can share with you a little bit of paradise, I hope you will enjoy it. This will be an ongoing blog on Country Living, Maui Island style, places to eat, farm life, tropical flowers, life on our little farm, local talent, and the surf and windsurfing scene.
