Best of Maui, Beaches, Golf, Windsurfing and Hawaiian Sunshine
So you think you might want to call Maui home. So what is the big fuss with Maui anyway? So what if we have some of the best beaches in the world? The weather is in the 80’s the skies are clear and the wind is mild. You might be into whales or how about turtles diving around you as you enjoy your morning dive? Some people in the northwest are dreaming about owning a Wailea Maui condo and living on Maui would be a great option. It happens to be snowing in Tahoe for 2 weeks straight, you love the snow but enough is enough. Wailea Maui has the most consistent weather you could hope for. Maui is a great place to take in 18 holes of golf on Wailea’s blue course. Well, my family loves life in Maui. A day at the beach with my granddaughters is always a winner.
You have to ask yourself, what are you exactly looking for on Maui? You just might love a round of Golf in Wailea, then an afternoon sunset at the Mana Kai for Happy Hour. Then maybe a vacation home in Wailea just might be the perfect situation to find a luxury home in Wailea, or how about an oceanfront condo in Wailea Elua.
Many people love the Upcountry life, casual living in a kick-back lifestyle enjoying the local flare. Saturday morning at the Farmers Market in Kula, run into some friends, buy some fresh veggies, and grab some breakfast.
It’s really about the journey, finding your piece of paradise. Upcountry Maui offers a variety of communities to choose from. Kula Maui is located at the perfect elevation, climate, and growing conditions for a herb garden to a full-blown farm. Pukalani and Makawao offer residential communities with small-town atmosphere, local restaurants, and stores.
Maybe you have been dreaming about dropping in on some huge waves on the north shore of Maui. Okay, how about some 2 ft fun surf at your favorite surf break at Hookipa Beach Park? The north shore of Maui consists of homes in Haiku Maui and in the Paia town area. Places like Spreckelsville oceanfront homes and homes in Kuau Bayview offer house lots close to the beach.
Windsurfing and kite surfing are really big sports on the north shore. When I can, I love getting out for a surf session or windsurfing at one of my favorite spots. Summer and winter seasons bring the waterman from all over the world to Maui’s north shore.
The north shore also has great places to eat like Mama’s Fish House an island favorite. I heard that Mama’s is one of the top 10 best restaurants in the country. But you will need to explore Paia Maui for other great places to eat as well.
A drive out to Kaanapali Beach is a popular island destination for golf and resort living. A couple resort properties that I really like, the Kaanapali Alii oceanfront condominiums, and the Honua Kai Resort and Spa. Funny when I am traveling and I am talking to people about where they like to travel to, Maui is usually at the top of the list. People are drawn to Maui for different reasons.
For me as a young man of 19, it was to surf and live in the country. Well, 45 years later I am still living in the country, raising a family, and still surfing living my dream. This is my family.
Maui is an awesome place to visit or call home. For myself, I enjoy both worlds. I work in one of the best real estate markets in the world. I work with Hawaii Life, #1 in luxury sales in Hawaii. We have offices in Wailea and Lahaina and I work island-wide.
So if you hear Maui calling you, and you have questions about buying real estate on Maui. I am looking forward to introducing you to Maui communities, their lifestyles, and the prestigious Maui properties.
